Poland has become the main supplier of battle tanks to Ukraine, providing more armored vehicles than any other nation since the beginning of the conflict with Russia.

According to information shared by the website Militarnyi, which analyzed data from the Polish Ministry of National Defense, Warsaw delivered a total of 318 tanks to Ukraine between 2022 and 2024.

Among them, Poland sent T-72M/M1s, upgraded T-72M1Rs, PT-91 Twardy tanks, and German-made Leopard 2s. But beyond tanks, Poland’s contribution has extended to almost every area of the Ukrainian military effort.

The country transferred 586 armored vehicles, 137 artillery systems, 10 Mi-24 attack helicopters, 10 MiG-29 fighter jets, 287 portable air defense systems (MANPADS), 44 air-to-air missiles, 89 mortars, 4 BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, and over 100 million rounds of ammunition.

According to the Polish Ministry of Defense, the total value of this military aid — which also covers logistics, training, maintenance, and medical support — exceeded US$ 4.19 billion as of March 2025.

The report also stated that in 2022 alone, the aid totaled approximately US$ 1.68 billion, with another US$ 1.31 billion distributed between 2023 and 2024.

Poland also provided other essential equipment to Ukraine during the war, including more than 19,500 Starlink satellite terminals. These devices have become critical on the battlefield, enabling secure communications and drone coordination in contested areas.
